THE TRAINING OF 1000 UNEMPLOYED AND POOR PEOPLE IN NOVEMBER, 2010 

The training and registration of the 1000 people have started. Please come and get Trained for FREE

Things Needed for the Training (N100,000 per Person)

   We need N100,000naira to train each person for three months to enable them

         stay employed. Though a company has donated Laptops but they are not

         in Nigeria, so we still need to ship them to Nigeria (N25,000 each)

1. Exam Vouchers (Oracle or CCNP: (N40,000) Cisco Certified  

    Network Professional vouchers)

2. A place to work / volunteer after our training

3. Computers with Internet Connection

4. Venue for training

5. 2 Professional Trainers (Salary is N150,000 (both))

6. We need to donate Computer systems/Laptops, hair dryers,    

    Sewing machines

7. Tea Shirts, Identity cards and transportation for our outing day

8. Lunch for the three months training

9. Generator to power our venue

As a way of raising fund for training the Unemployed in our society to aid in developing themselves in such that they can be self employed or employable, we wish to host a competition between churches, the attendees will have to pay to attend. Our wish is that the money goes to the NGO.

The aim of education is to develop the manhood and womanhood of the rising generations for the sake of their peoples. Education is the greatest force that can be used to bring about change. It is also the greatest investment that a nation can make for the quick development of its economic, political, sociological and human resources.

Our mission is to curb poverty in Nigeria through skilled training in areas like: Practical Computing, Professional Carpentry, Professional Mechanic, Fashion Designing, Event Planning. These are our pilot courses for effective enhancement.

Our target audiences are children, youths, women, and men while over 60 has been trained

5. Build boldness to those with low self esteem

11. We hope to train about 10,000 Nigerians before the end of  year 2011

About us

Kechim Education Initiative for Skill Acquisition was founded in 2007 who got concerned about how our young people are going. 80% of our young ones cannot stay employed by themselves due to lack of skills.

Most are unemployed not because there is no job but for the fact that they either cannot write a good curriculum vitae or cannot defend the course they read in school. Some have never worked before probably because they do not like aptitude test and cannot afford any training for the skill that can keep them employed without writing that aptitude test.

We provide service to public as well as private sectors of the economy.

At the moment we are focusing on skill acquisition of our adult and children who need these skills to move to the next level of their life or start life without going through the pains of application rejection.
